FinOps & Cloud Cost Optimization

Know where your cloud spend goes, and make every dollar work harder.

FinOps isn't a cost-cutting exercise. It's shared visibility, accountability, and intentional architecture, so cloud spend becomes a decision your team makes, not a surprise your finance team discovers.

What we do

Cost clarity, built into how you work.

Cost visibility & structure

Tagging, account structure, and allocation that make it possible to answer "what does this product cost?" in one query.

Spend analysis & anomalies

Baselines and anomaly detection so unexpected spikes are caught in days, not quarters.

Rightsizing & idle cleanup

Right-sized resources and automated cleanup of forgotten instances, volumes, and load balancers.

Commitment strategy

Savings plans and reserved capacity bought deliberately, matched to real usage, never as a bet.

Storage, transfer & services

Optimization of storage classes, data transfer, and managed services where the quiet money hides.

Architecture & long-term cost

Design decisions, autoscaling, request patterns, data flow, that reduce cost permanently, not just this month.

Budgeting & reporting

Forecasts and engineering-friendly reporting that stakeholders actually read, tied to product priorities.

A FinOps operating model

Simple ownership rules and a cadence your team can sustain, without turning cost review into a bureaucratic ritual.

Guardrails, not gates

We make wasteful patterns hard by default, budgets, alerts, and policies that guide without blocking delivery.

A plain-spoken promise

The goal is not to make dashboards. The goal is to make better decisions.

No wall-of-widgets exercises. No reports that get filed and forgotten. If a metric doesn't change a decision, it doesn't belong in the review.

What to expect

Honest outcomes, without invented numbers.

We won't promise a percentage saving before we understand your environment. What we do promise is how it will feel:

Clearer ownership of spend
Fewer surprise bills
Cost decisions tied to product priorities

After the first month you'll typically see the largest, easiest wins; the architecture work keeps compounding from there. Exact results depend on your estate, we'll show you what's realistic before we start.

Common questions

FinOps questions we hear often.

We have no tagging at all. Can you still help?

Yes. We build the allocation structure with you, starting from whatever metadata exists today. Visibility comes first; optimization follows it.

Will cutting costs slow down our engineering?

It shouldn't. Most initial wins are waste: idle resources, oversized instances, orphaned storage. We keep guardrails permissive and remove them when they cause friction.

What can we realistically save?

It depends entirely on your environment. After a short assessment we'll give you a range based on what we actually see, not a marketing figure.

Do you manage cost tools or do we?

We set them up and teach your team to run them. Cost visibility shouldn't depend on a consultant being in the room.

Is FinOps only about the cloud bill?

No. The same discipline, visibility, ownership, intentional decisions, applies to SaaS subscriptions, data costs, and even on-prem capacity. We start with the cloud bill and follow the money.

Bring clarity to cloud spend.

If your cloud bill is a mystery or a monthly argument, that's a solvable problem. Tell us what you're seeing, we'll tell you what's possible.
