About YourInfraGuy

Infrastructure expertise without the unnecessary theatre.

Built by engineers who've been in the stack. We reduce complexity, build dependable infrastructure, and hand it over properly.

Who we are

"YourInfraGuy is a collective of senior engineers with a decade-plus of hands-on DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience."

We're the engineers you'd want as a senior hire, without the full-time cost, and without the consulting-firm overhead. We combine practical engineering judgment with a collaborative, delivery-focused approach: we help you make confident decisions, improve what already exists, and build strong foundations for what comes next.

Principles

How we operate.

These aren't wall decorations. They're how every engagement actually runs.

Start with the business and delivery problem

Technology choices are answers to business questions. We make sure the question comes first.

Prefer clarity over complexity

The simplest system that meets the need beats the impressive one. Complexity is a liability we actively avoid.

Build for the team that will operate it

If your team can't run it comfortably, we haven't finished. Operability is a design requirement.

Open-source first, not open-source only

We start with open tools because they usually win on ownership, flexibility, cost, and resilience. We switch when the evidence says so.

Share knowledge, don't create dependency

The goal is a team that no longer needs us, or that knows exactly why it wants us around.

Treat cost as an engineering concern

Cost decisions live with the engineers who make them, informed by real visibility, not in a finance silo.

Working together

What it feels like to work with us.

Direct communication, realistic estimates, and honest answers, including when the answer is "you don't need us for this."

A tidy modern workspace desk with a laptop
  • You talk to engineers, not account managers. The person in the room is the person doing the work.
  • Small teams, senior people. We're a collective, deliberately, you get experience, not leverage ratios.
  • Transparent progress. You can see what's being done, what's blocked, and what's changing at any point.
  • Knowledge is part of the deliverable. Docs, runbooks, pairing, and reviews ship with every engagement.
  • Reasonable scope, honest estimates. We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver than the reverse.

Let's talk about your infrastructure.

Tell us where things stand and what you're trying to achieve. You'll get a straight answer and a practical next step.
